Gully Emptying
The Hydro-Cleansing team provides routine ditch and gully emptying at various sites and buildings around London and the south of England. We are qualified in various cleaning processes and use specialist equipment when undertaking gully cleaning on high rise roof tops.
We provide assistance for various councils in cleaning of public area gullies and ditches. We are also on call during emergency periods of heavy rain when both gullies and ditches may overflow due to the build up of leaves, dirt and other debris.
Why empty and clean gullies?
Gullies form part of the positive drainage system removing water from the highway quickly and efficiently. Cleansing of gullies on the highway has the following additional objectives:
- To remove debris and obstructing obstacles from the gully.
- To ensure continued efficient functioning of the gully and its connection.
- Ensures that the drainage system (drain or gutter) is maintained for a longer life.
- To prevent further problems due to flooding as a result of blocked gullies.
