HAZARDOUS WASTE PREMISES NOTIFICATION

From July 16th 2005 the Special Waste Regulations will be repealed and the UK will adopt The Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.

All sites that produce hazardous waste should pre-register with the Environment Agency on or before 16th July 2005. Premises producing less than 200 kg of hazardous waste per annum will be exempt from this requirement. Examples of such premises include the following:- shops, schools, universities, offices, hospitals, surgeries, agricultural premises, residential homes and prisons. A total of 200kg is equivalent to 10 small TVs; 14 lead acid batteries; 500 fluorescent tubes or 5 small domestic fridges.

Hydro-Cleansing Ltd can register your premises for you
prior to the 16th July deadline. This can be done electronically for a cost of £30.00 or by post for £35.00. You may register through us in 3 easy ways:- Complete the online form below, or download an application form here and fax it back to our office, download an application form here and post it back to our office. We will then invoice you on receipt and provide you with your unique premises code.

You may register your premises after the 16th July 2005, but it will take at least 4 weeks form the submission date. You will therefore not be able to dispose of your hazardous waste during this period.
